We wanted to create a versatile, thin, and roomy romper with a simple look that fits most occasions – a basic garment with a good fit.
This resulted in the Høyden Onesie, which works well both as an indoor outfit or as outerwear. It can be knitted with stripes in the colors of your choice, or entirely in a solid color.
The romper is knitted from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke. The first and last 7 stitches on the needle form the button band and are knitted in ribbing simultaneously with the rest of the garment. Short rows are knitted in the main color in the neck and over the bum. Finally, the legs and sleeves are knitted.
Knit 8 rounds in the main color alternating with 2 rounds in the stripe color. The stripes extend to the button band.
