We wanted to design a sweater in stockinette stitches with a simple, repetitive pattern that quickly becomes second nature to knit! After trying out several swatches, we finally landed on a pattern we were really happy with. The first sweater was knit in cool blue tones, reminding us of winter, snow, and ice. Therefor the sweater was named after Isdalen (which means Ice valley), one of the trails leading down the back of Ulriken, the highest of Bergen´s city mountains.
The Isdalen Sweater is knitted from the top down with short rows in the neck and raglan increases on the yoke. The neck edge can be made single or double for more elasticity. The sweater is knitted in a pattern with endless possibilities for exciting color combinations. It feels light snd warm at the same time, making it suitable for year-round wear.
