When designing the Marken Baby Set, we wanted to create a simple texture pattern that flows effortlessly while knitting—the perfect TV-knit!
We also wanted a pattern that makes the garment soft and allows for great movement, and, most importantly, a completely seamless finish when the knitting is done!
We are very pleased with the simple I-cord button band, which is knitted along with the rest of the jacket. This set is a delightful and easy project to knit for a new baby or as a outfit for starting daycare.
The jacket is knitted top-down with raglan increases and an integrated I-cord button band. The pants can be knitted with a ribbed waistband for the smallest sizes or with a folded hem and elastic band. They are knitted top-down with short rows over the bum for the best fit.
