The Regndråpe Balaclava is the newest addition to the Regndråpe family, knitted in a simple eyelet pattern that makes the garments both warm and breathable. All sizes use less than 50 g of yarn, making this pattern a great way to use up leftover yarn.
The balaclava is perfect for spring, summer, and autumn – thanks to its light and airy fit and thickness. It provides just the right amount of warmth and ventilation for babies sleeping in strollers or for children who easily overheat in hats. The playful yet clean design suits both boys and girls beautifully.
The pattern is suitable for most knitters, even beginners new to lace knitting, as (almost) every yarn over is explained in detail. It's a great introduction to the lace pattern if you’re planning to knit the Regndråpe Newborn Set afterward.
The top of the balaclava is knitted as a rectangle, then worked back and forth with increases and decreases to shape the top of the hat. It is then joined under the chin, and the neck and ribbing around the face are knitted last.

Veldig fin på og passer fin som en litt tynnere balaklava. Litt kort på toppen av hode i lengden fra panne til bakhode, og vanskelig å strikke lenger mtp på mønsteret som skal stemme.
Fin lue.Godt gjennomarbeidet mønster som forklarte framgangsmåten veldig bra!
