Sludd Wool Pants

We wanted to design a warm wool pants in a simple and stretchy texture, perfect as a mid-layer under rain gear or a snowsuit on the coldest days. Since knitting pant legs can feel time-consuming, the Sludd Wool Pants are made with a folded hem, so hopefully they’ll fit for two winters. And of course, the pants feature stripes in true Luddi style!

The Sludd Wool Pants are worked top down in pearl rib, which provides an elastic and comfortable fit. The pants are made with a casing for elastic at the waist and short rows over the bum. The ribbing on the legs is knitted with a fold-over edge for long wear.

Gauge: 22 stitches = 10 cm on 3.5 mm needles in stockinette stitch. 
24 stitches = 10 cm on 3.5 mm needles in pattern stitch
Needle sizes: Circular needle and double-pointed needles 3 mm and 3.5 mm
