Smau Balaclava is the first design in the Smau series – a series worked by completing full stripes rather than measuring the length. Our goal was to create a pattern that is both fun and easy to follow, where you can focus on finishing full stripes instead of measuring centimetres. At the same time, the stripes are intentionally finished before the edges, giving the design a clean and well-balanced look.
With the Smau Balaclava, we also wanted to create “the perfect hat” for children – one that fits well around the head, protects from cold and wind, and stays comfortably in place during play.
