We have expanded the Raindrop series with this lovely, airy and roomy onesie! Just like in the popular coming home set, we think the hole pattern gives a playful yet clean and simple look – perhaps even more so in this onesie.
We wanted to create a series that works all year round, and the hole pattern does exactly that – it makes the garment both warm and breathable, perfect for both summer and winter babies, boys and girls alike.
Before we started designing our own patterns, we often found that baby garments were difficult to fasten at the top under the baby’s chin. That’s why we’ve added short rows at the back of the neck for a better fit around the neckline.
The Raindrop Onesie is worked top-down in stockinette stitch, with raglan increases across the yoke and short rows in the neck and over the bum. The button band in rib is worked at the same time as the rest of the garment.
